Repair usually makes sense when...
- Age The appliance has plenty of useful life left.
- Cost The repair is modest next to the price of a new one.
- History This is a first or rare breakdown.
Repair or replace your appliance? We’ll help you decide.

Repair or Replace
No fixed formula. Your technician walks you through the numbers for your appliance before any work starts. If a repair does not go as planned, ask us about a service-call refund.
How It Works

Ask for same-day or next-day availability online or by phone.
Your technician finds the cause and explains repair versus replace, with the cost, before any work.
Approve the repair that makes sense. If a part is needed, we explain what comes next.
Including Whirlpool, GE, Samsung, LG, Maytag and Bosch.

Quick Answers
We confirm your service-call fee when you book, before your visit. This covers the technician's visit and diagnosis; the repair is priced separately for parts and labor. After diagnosing the problem, we explain the recommended work and quote the repair before you decide whether to proceed. If more than one appliance needs attention, mention it when booking so we can explain any additional charges. Read our pricing policy.
Often, yes. Same-day visits depend on your location and technician availability, so call early or book online to check the earliest opening. Have your appliance's brand, model number if available, and a description of the problem ready. Error codes or details about when the problem occurs can also help us prepare. A same-day visit does not always mean a completed repair that day: if a part needs to be ordered, we will explain the next steps after diagnosis.
Your technician considers the appliance's age, overall condition, repair history, and the cost and availability of the parts it needs. We explain the repair estimate so you can compare it with replacement. Remember to include delivery, installation, and removal of the old appliance when comparing costs. Age alone does not tell the whole story: an otherwise reliable appliance may still be worth repairing. If replacement makes more sense, we will say so and can connect you with a personal shopper.
We serve homes across Connecticut, including Stamford, New Haven, West Hartford, Danbury, Norwich, and Middletown. The towns shown here are examples, not a complete list. Give us your town or ZIP code when you call so we can confirm coverage and the earliest appointment for your address. Mention your appliance type and brand, too, so we can check service availability before you book.
